SOULA NOTOS
Biography (Dutch bio below)

I am a theatermaker, storyteller, actress, host, and comedian. I graduated in 2005 at the Theaterkade in Amsterdam as a theatermaker with my play Doctor, what do cowgirls dream about?

At the moment I'm performing my first long solo Who are you when no one is looking? on different occasions (like the International Storytelling Festival Amsterdam, First Contact London, and the Fortellerfestivalen in Oslo). In the piece I tell expressive, energetic, poetic stories full of self-mockery about growing up with different labels and how to deal with them without losing your mind.

In the past I performed in various plays like De Pensionados by Petit Circuit, Eigen Verantwoordelijkheid Eerst! by Evenhuis & Notos, and in the children's plays Dans, Assepoester, Dans! and Sam & Doornroosje at the Museum Speelklok, and Radio Amigu by Kalebas Produkties. I also played my own solo Heimwee (Homesickness) for two years in theaters, at schools and festivals. .

As a comedian I perform in Dutch, English and since recently also in Greek. I perform in the Netherlands, but also abroad (Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, England, Scotland, Denmark, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Finland, Malta). I'm a member of the Comedyhuis (a collective of comedians from Utrecht).

I made my Dutch national television début in 2011 with her comedy minute on the Dutch talk show The Half Moon.

Besides this I play in a children's play at schools, I work as a host, as a corporate actress, as an occasional teacher, and I make performances on demand.
